Instant Pot Spaghetti Squash

Instant Pot Spaghetti Squash

Makes 3 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 spaghetti squash

  • 1 cup water

Method

  1. Slice the spaghetti squash in half. Remove the seeds in the center using a knife to loosen and a fork; discard seeds.

  2. Place a trivet or steamer basket in the bottom of the Instant Pot and add a cup of water. Arrange the cut squash halves on top of the trivet and secure the lid in the Sealing position. Note: Halves may overlap and may not lay flat. 

  3. Manually set the pressure cooker to cook on high pressure for 7 minutes. 

  4. When the timer goes off, carefully quick-release the pressure. Remove the squash halves from the pot. Let cool slightly. Then, use the tines of a fork to remove the cooked strands.
